Bringing in his harvest

Each of the children planted their own little garden plot this year and when we came home from our vacation we had a splendid harvest awaiting us!  We even had friends pick for us while we were gone and there was still an oodle of green beans for us to pick in the oncoming days.  I had to get a photo of Sam cutting these beans.  His little hands worked so methodically and carefully...he stayed at that task til it stuck to him...it took quite a while.  

Sam is Seven

My little Sammy turned seven on July 14th. We had a couple of his buddies over to swim, slip, slide, shoot waterguns, and roast spiderdogs...it was fabulous!
