well, we took the kids downhill skiing at the nearest ski hill on Saturday...they did really well for their first time! we just kept going down the bunny hill until noon and then it was up the t-bar! There were a few times I was laughing so hard I fell over...
- like the time Kimball thought you were supposed to SIT on the t-bar...
- like the other time when we went to the top of the hill not knowing there were no green circle runs...nice one Somer...your kids first day skiing and they're doing a blue square! "mom, we are NEVER doing the strawberry twist again!"
- like the time Kimball was sitting on his skis and slid right off the run, into the forest! LOL!!
- like the time I was trying to uncross Sam's twisted up ski legs and get him to stand up and he was just dropping his weight which made it impossible!
- and the other time, which wasn't a laughing moment, but just the overall experience...it was a fabulous day!
First time skiers is so precious. Adam taught our kids what a garage sale was (when people going down hill crash and all their gear goes flying). Now my kids yell it from the chair lift every time it happens to someone. My little punks. I laughed when I pictured Kimball going straight to the trees in the crouched position.
